Daniels Helps SNHU Upset No. 7 Pace

NE10 Player of the Week

Ray Daniels, Southern New Hampshire
Junior | Guard | Las Vegas, Nev.

 

Daniels averaged 22.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, while shooting 46.9 percent from the field, including 50 percent (5-10) from downtown, and 76.9 percent at the line, during a 1-1 week for SNHU. Daniels dropped 26 points (8-18 FG, 4-7 3-FG, 6-7 FT) and made a pair of steals in an 82-74 loss to Bentley on Thursday, before tallying 19 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3-FG, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, four steals, and a pair of blocks in a 64-62 victory over No. 7/13 Pace to hand the Setters their first loss.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Zee McCown, Assumption
Freshman | Guard | Louisville, Ky.

McCown averaged 13.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists as the Greyhounds pushed their winning streak to 11 games following two road wins to begin 2025. At Saint Anselm, McCown recorded ten points, three assists, and one rebound in the 97-79 win. He capped off the week with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block in Assumption's 98-89 win at Southern Connecticut. On the week, he shot 55.0 percent from the field, only committing two turnovers in 41 minutes.
